Vice President of Client Care and a partner to Trent in founding Dyrand Systems, Ed Anderson’s extensive experience as a network engineer provided the solid technical foundation that set the standard for Dyrand as a premier Managed IT Services firm. More than just giving Dyrand the credible, technical legs which have brought it from its early days to its current successes, Ed’s skills as a team and account manager have helped grow Dyrand, one client and one technician at a time.
That Ed has the understanding to nurture both Dyrand’s key accounts and growing technical team comes as no surprise—native to Newfoundland, Ed’s friendly demeanour makes him immediately approachable. Add to that his education in business administration, and the combination of technical expertise, diplomacy and business reveals Ed’s contribution to Dyrand to be invaluable.
A certified Novell Engineer and Microsoft Certified Professional, Ed has—on top of his six years with Dyrand—more than seven years network experience. His expertise ranges across numerous network operating systems, including Microsoft Netware and Macintosh. Involved in business development, planning and managing installations, upgrades and ongoing maintenance of both local and wide area networks, Ed has genuine insight into the technical troubles Dyrand’s clients face prior to choosing Dyrand. This insight helps him speak directly to client needs.
Father to a 16 year-old son (and Harley, Dyrand's official mascot), Ed occupies his free time with running, camping and home improvement. |
